Hope provides brake adapters for almost any configuration available. These mounts are designed to ensure compatibility with Hope brakes, though compatibility with other manufacturers cannot be guaranteed.

How to Identify and Use the Adapters:

To determine the correct adapter for your setup, use the provided charts. Here's an example to help you understand the chart:

Example: Mount L

• Configuration 1: "Post Mount 160 -> Post Mount 180"

  • Your fork or frame is a post mount designed to accept a post-style caliper directly with a 160mm rotor, but you want to use a 180mm rotor with a post-style caliper.

• Configuration 2: "Post Mount 180 -> Post Mount 200"

  • Your fork or frame is a post mount designed to accept a post-style caliper directly with a 180mm rotor, but you want to use a 200mm rotor with a post-style caliper.

This mount will fit either of these configurations. All newer Hope calipers are post mounts, so the second part of the configuration (after the arrow) will always be post. The first part will be your fork or frame configuration.

Steps to Identify Your Fork or Frame Configuration:

1. Check the Mount Type on Your Fork or Frame:

   • Post Mount: Directly mounts the caliper to the frame or fork with bolts.
   • International Standard (IS) Mount: Requires an adapter to mount the caliper.
   • Flat Mount: Typically used for road bikes and some modern mountain bikes.

2. Determine Your Rotor Size:

   • Identify the rotor size your frame or fork is built to accept directly.

3. Select the Desired Rotor Size:

   • Decide the rotor size you want to use with your Hope brake caliper.

4. Use the Chart:

   • Find the corresponding adapter/mount for your configuration using the chart. Ensure that the mount you choose matches your frame or fork mount type and desired rotor size.
