Shipping policy

Shipping Method/Cost:  monkamoo.com ships via usps only.  We ship for free in the United States, and have a flat fee of usd 35.99 for all other countries, no matter how little or how much you order. 

Current Leadtime for Orders:  we have made every effort to post shipping leadtimes and policies at the top of every page on the website (with a clickable link).  There is ALSO a blue banner with bold white letters and astericks at the top of each page that asks you to read the shipping policy PRIOR to placing an order.   Given the supply chain issues that have been ongoing for quite some time, coupled with high demand, orders have been averaging an 2-4 week lead time (EXCEPT FOR THE TECH 4 BRAKES).  FOR THE NEW TECH 4 BRAKES, SEE THE PRODUCT PAGE FOR THE LEAD TIME.  Rotors and smaller parts sometimes ship much sooner.  While the mountain bike component manufacturers are adjusting to reduce this time, the lead time is forecast to last for at least another year or two, so if you are set on Hope it is best to stay in the queue. 

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:  while it may take a bit of time to receive your order, we are confident the wait is worth it as we offer top-of-the-line parts. We give you a two week window (calendar days) to cancel an order (except for brakes, special orders, OR discounted items - we cannot cancel any of these items for ANY reason, no matter when you ordered - NO EXCEPTIONS).  After the two week time frame, it is too far along in the process to cancel ANY order. 

Our policy has been put in place for a very clear reason - people were placing orders with monkamoo.com, holding their place in line, and subsequently scouring the internet until they found some vendor that had items in stock (maybe from cancellations or returns) - then they would cancel their order with monkamoo.com (many times over a month later), leaving us with unwanted inventory/open orders.  We process orders in good faith with the vendor and cannot have people holding the order while they shop around to try and find stock - only to cancel a week or a month down the line.  This unsavory practice was so widespread that it became unsustainable not only from a financial standpoint, but also from an adminsitrative perspective.  When the supply chain/demand issues show signs of relief, we will revisit this policy.
